Today, India’s Home Minister Amit Shah addressed media in the capital of India New Delhi. During the press conference Shah talked over voting process that took place in West Bengal on 27 March. Shah said, “After several years in Bengal, the voting process is complete without a single shot fired, bombing, and re-polling booth.” “For this, I congratulate the Election Commission. I also express my special thanks to the women of Bengal overwhelmingly voted in favour of the BJP,” Shah added.
Attacking the TMC and left party Shah said “there was an atmosphere of extreme despair and frustration due to corruption, appeasement, and infiltration. Left and TMC took Bengal back, changed the name and symbol of the party but Bengal remained there. However, under the leadership of Modi ji, the BJP has raised a ray of hope in the minds of the people of Bengal with the vision of Sonar Bangla.”
Amit Shah also shows anger over the demise of Shova Majumdar. He tweets “Anguished over the demise of Bengal’s daughter Shova Majumdar ji, who was brutally beaten by TMC goons.”
