Violence breaks out In W.B, After Election Result Declared, TMC Denied All Allegation

Kolkata:- As per the media reports, Violence broke out in parts of West Bengal on Sunday evening even as trends and results from the assembly election were pouring in. Many Houses and vehicles of some Bharatiya Janata Party candidates were allegedly attacked and a party office at Arambagh was set on fire. The vehicle of Suvendu Adhikari, who defeated chief minister Mamata Banerjee in Nandigram, was also attacked. BJP Party Office in Nandigram allegedly ransacked & torched by TMC workers. However, TMC leaders denied all the allegations made by BJP and said they had nothing to do with any violence and urged people to maintain peace and follow Covid-19 protocols. After the massive victory, TMC rolls back into power in West Bengal, soon after that violence been witnessed in some of the districts.

While urging the safety of BJP workers Finance Minister of India Nirmala Sitharaman tweets “Shocking images of a @BJP4Bengal office being set on fire. Hope the administration ensures everyone’s safety. The hard work by all karyakarta and leadership of @BJP4Bengal in this election resulted in a significant increase in presence in WB. We are with you, stay safe,” quoting visuals by a journalist.
