Devosree Roy, Content Writer, Siren News : A 26-year-old man, who was so called boyfriend of the victim’s mother, brutally raped and murdered the little toddler. The accused was arrested on Tuesday night by Bangalore Kamakhipalya police after committing the crime, influenced by Marijuana.
According to the police the accused was taking care of the 3-years-old baby girl from last one year, where the single-mother of the victim was working at a garments factory. She was in a illegitimate relationship with the accused and during the crime she was outside at work.
Accused was dragged into a case, registered under IPC 376/402 of POCSO (Protection of Children from Sexual Offences) Act. Police source claimed and confirmed, he smoked marijuana before raping and murdering the little one.
The question is, is there any dead-end of these shameful activities and where is our freedom and safety?
