Dr. Archana Majumdar, Senior Chief Medical officer, Ministry of Health and Family Welfare and Editor-In-Chief of Indian Medical Journal has shared some relevant information to prevent the virus. She also urged everyone to wash hands properly, avoid going out, and ignore gathering. She added that during this pandemic try to increase your immunity system or mechanism that is your inner strength and have a healthy body.
While suggesting how to boost up immunity system Dr. Archana Majumdar said “The one good those who are affected with COVID-19 positive, does not mean they all in serious or in critical condition. Out of 100, 90 people are asymptomatic which means showing no symptoms with time they can recover. And the 10 people who are affected with COVID-19 symptoms they find difficulty in breathing and also have a high fever. During this pandemic try to increase your immunity system or mechanism that is your inner strength and have a healthy body. Today, everyone should focus to boost up their immunity system. How you will increase your immunity system as we are under lockdown and have time as well so try to take rest, try to have water most of the time, have a good amount of food and fruits, try to keep your home environment free and easy, walk at your home if you do yoga or any kind of mediation that will atomically increase your immunity mechanism.”
The Senior Chief Medical officers also asked people to maintain social distancing. “I have seen some of the people who are going to purchase essential commodities they did not maintain distance between them suppose, if it spread in large how we all manage s you the infrastructure we have and how many ventilators we have. It people who need to understand” added Dr. Archana Majumdar.
