New Delhi:- During amid standoff on LAC Indian Army has set a remark and occupied six new major hills on LAC. According to the media reports, the hills that being occupied by Indian troops includes the Magar Hill, Gurung Hill, Recehen La, Rezang La, Mokhpari, and the dominating height over Chinese positions near Finger 4. However, the army has occupied these six positions on Finger 4 ridgeline since August 29.
On this ongoing row, this is the biggest breakthrough for the Indian Army; as they overtake the hills before Chinese troops. Sources enlighten that the blocking of the Chinese army’s attempts to occupy the heights led to air firing on three occasions from the northern bank of Pangong to the southern bank of the lake. More than three times there had been intimidation from PLA to India. After the Indian Army blemished Chinese troop’s attempts, the Chinese army has deployed an additional 3000 troops near the Rezang La and Rechen La heights.
Earlier, diplomatic talks were held between India and China in August after Chinese troop’s proactive action on LAC. The meeting was held through video conference while keeping the view of tensions rose on LAC, Ladakh regions. Conversely, five rounds of corps commander’s talks were detained between both the countries and also have failed due to the serious differences in the Finger Area near Pangong Lake.
